This summer marks the 20th Anniversary of 'Batman Begins' - the first of eight incredible collaborations between DNEG and Christopher Nolan.
The Beginning: Batman Begins
DNEG's journey with Nolan began with Batman Begins. We were the lead VFX partner, delivering approximately 300 visual effects shots. The goal was to create a believable and immersive Gotham City.
Our team tackled challenging sequences, including the Batcave, the monorail chase, and the creation of the Narrows. We blended practical effects with CGI to achieve a realistic look, setting the stage for Nolan's distinctive style.
