Elton John & Spinal Tap Revive 'Stonehenge': A Stage Prop Redemption
The Rocket Man himself, Elton John, has teamed up with the legendary Spinal Tap to breathe new life into their iconic track, 'Stonehenge'. But this isn't just a simple cover; it's a chance to right a comedic wrong.
The Stonehenge Saga: A Rock History Mishap
For those unfamiliar with the tale, 'Stonehenge' from the 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap is infamous for its… well, undersized stage prop. What was meant to be a towering monument was, due to a miscommunication (or perhaps deliberate sabotage by Nigel Tufnel), a miniature version. The band's vision of recreating ancient druidic rituals on stage was slightly undermined.

This time around, they claim the stage prop will be appropriately sized, so everyone can rock out with a monumentally correct version of the Stonehenge prop.
Elton Takes the Lead: A Mystical Mashup
According to The Guardian, Elton John lends his signature vocals to this new rendition. The track is featured in Spin̈al Tap II: The End Continues, set to release in September. We can only hope this collaboration brings the house down!
Spin̈al Tap Legacy Continues
With decades of musical chaos under their belts, Spin̈al Tap proves that their staying power is unparalleled. Will Spin̈al Tap II: The End Continues give us 'Eleven', or something even more ridiculous. Only time will tell.
