My Cultural Awakening: Finding Solace Through Marina Abramović
This is the story of how a visit to a Marina Abramović Institute takeover at London's Southbank Centre unexpectedly helped me confront my past, specifically the complex relationship with my abusive father.
Discovering Quiet Strength
Inspired by Marina Abramović's memoir, Walk Through Walls, I attended the event on a warm October day in 2023. What I experienced was more than just art; it was a profound emotional journey.

This unexpected connection unlocked a dam of creativity within me, allowing me to express emotions and thoughts that had been buried for years.

Unblocking Creativity and Finding Forgiveness

While the journey is far from over, the Marina Abramović Institute event provided a crucial catalyst for healing and self-discovery.
